We enjoyed our 1st ever meal here last night...and what a wonderful experience! The owner spoke to us after we were seated and give us a sample of her son's birthday cake - made from scratch! The soup, Po boy and empanadas were amazing! Already planning a revisit w family. Its like being invited to a home cooked meal crafted with love!

Had lunch. Delicious! Excellent! I've eaten in plenty of Cuban restaurants in Florida/South Florida and boy, I thought those were good, but our very own little family owned joint blows all of them away. Amazing flavor, perfect portion sizes, great service, super cute building.

We went to try out Havana and what a pleasant surprise. We shared some pressed plantains that tasted fresh with a nice crunch. I had a Papu's Cuban sandwich, probably the best sandwich I have had I Missouri so far. The pork was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. For sure not the last time we will visit, might want to share the sandwich next time since it's pretty big.

We had the Papu's Cuban and the Taste of Cuba. Everything on the platter was fantastic with such a variety of tastes. The cuban was way better than the cubans we had in Florida (or anywhere else for that matter). The bread was soft, the meat tender and flavorful, and the sauce was tasty without overpowering the other flavors. Definitely coming back to try everything else.
